Today is the seventh anniversary of the day that Dennis Sapp first flew the STOL CH 701 that he built from a kit. Since that time, he's logged more than 600 hours in his Zenith and he's visited several states (as far off as Fargo, North Dakota) together with his wife Kathy.
Dennis, pictured below, enjoys the outdoors with his Zenith STOL, going camping with the airplane and landing on sandbars on the Missouri River.
Based at the same airport as the Zenith Aircraft factory, Dennis and his airplane are familiar to many who have visited the factory. Dennis plans on participating once again at the upcoming STOL competition at the 24th annual Zenith Open Hangar Day.
