The cross aluminum extends outside the tubing and is folded over. No rivets inside to disrupt flow, and absolutely no possibility of slipping.

I believe you could get to 2.5 with correct prop and jetting.  At this moment, I am nowhere near.  Once I get EGT/CHT where I want them, I will start leaning cruise jetting.

A friend of mine did something like this for his 3300 Jab. He is always fooling thit his engine.

Flying LOP and claims 2.5 gph. in a Kitfox.
