Robert, there are two O-rings on the lower through bolts, one accessible from outside the case and the other on the inside of the engine case.  Replacing the one on the outside (reason for pulling the cylinder) did not result in an effective fix to the leak.  I think the engine is well designed, and will be a good reliable engine once I get through this particular issue.  It is simple to work on (so far) and have great factory support, so I am optimistic things will work out okay.  Cheers and thanks for the comments.

Hi David,

Really sorry to read about your problem, it seems like a problem that should not have happened.

It looks like o-rings are the seals on those bolts?  I have almost 70 hours on my 350 and I really like

the engine, but at 19 hours the banjo fitting failed where it was welded on the steel tubing which feeds

oil to the head and that little episode covered my firewall and bottom of the plane with oil.  Nothing

compared to your problem and just have to hope these are isolated problems and, that the engines

prove to be reliable in the future.  I can tell by your comments and pictures that you are very competent

and particular with your airplane and hope the fix goes okay.

Pulled cylinder, resealed, reassembled and was not successful in repairing the oil leak.  Exact same leak in same place.  Likely means I've got to split the case and get at the interior seal on the thru bolts!!!  Can you spell frustrated...I can and am!  Anyway, not the end of the world, but will be some downtime for sure.
