Rolled out the floats in preparation to install to the aircraft and found one wheel dragging hard. Brakes were good, but both had very "crunchy" bearings. Pulled both wheels and ordered new sets of bearing,races, and seals from Grove.

Agree, I kind of neglected post season maintenance on the floats other than shooting some more grease into them and partially filling with RV antifreeze.  I won't let that happen again if I can help it.

Bearings get exposed to water when floats in use... I built those floats 9 years ago (time fly's) sorry but not covered by tail light warranty. (LOL) Probably need to change ever few years as part of seasonal maintenance.
