Thanks David. Took my wife up last Saturday--she was the first. She liked it thankfully. Aircraft is flying great so far. Only issue still is  the uneven fuel flow. But ,we believe it is really a faulty fuel sender in that tank so I ordered a new one. Never got the wire bend right so will try again. Coming up on the 50 hr check so will change the sender then. Once everyone gets a ride I will take the airplane up to Fort Worth and get it painted at GLO painting. Will keep an eye 'under the hood' as you suggest, thanks.

Sent out to Ray in Geogia for assessment and rebuild.  Just got there last friday.  Likely go down for a few days once he has all the parts ordered and on hand for the rebuild.  Get myself a bit of education...

Glad you out of Phase I, gradually extend your range and confidence in the engine, pull all the cowls every couple of hours of flight time and look things over  Good postflights (and preflights) absolutely essential with our craft.

Sorry to hear about all the drama David. Glad it is working out and you will be back in the air by spring. Where did you send the engine? Ray? Curious as to the procedure. I just finished my flyoff so wondering which brave soul will be the first to get the proverbial $100 burger.

Tough situation. Good job on the forced landing.
