Zenith CH601HDS spotted at the Casa Grande Casa Arizona Fly-in. Rotax 912 engine. I found my old friend Jerry Latimer and his "Old School" CH601HDS "clipped wing" version of the CH601HD at the fly-in. Jerry and I first met in 2012 on my first trip to Arizona. What a great guy :>)

Mirror finish. Must be bright in that Arizona Sun!

Its takes 400 "black & dirty" hours to polish an aircraft to this shine. The 2 - 3 years of its life it was tied down outside. Now this lucky bird is in a hangar at Chandler, Az. The wait list for a hangar in Arizona is average 5 yrs.
