This is the strip I made to clean up the top of the windshield - top plexiglass junction. Note the break on the leading edge and the extended part that smooths up the plexiglass junction. Seems to smooth out the flow but it was rough the day I flew to look at whether there is an improvement. I started with a piece of .025 6061 T6 40mm wide 2.5 mm for front break 20mm for top surface 15 mm for the flange down and 2.5 mm for rear flare. Bends are break front edge, deflection down at 15mm fwd of the rear of the piece. I just took a guess on the right angle and it actually was right the first time. The rear edge is a reverse break to join the top surface.
