We flew back home to Tenn from Fla this afternoon. Any of you that flew in the south east today should know of the high winds! I was so happy to see our home airport! 7000 ft ceilings and 240 @ 15 kts on runway 23 was pretty easy and the landing was a real greasier but I had worried about it for 3.5 hours. Earlier, they were gusting to 30 knots. On departing 32 at Destin Fl, I had a 13 knot cross wind and everyone departing before me made it look real easy but I had an oh crapp moment on rotating! It is about time for a flight review and I really want to stress the cross wind training thing. Its good to be home!
