Hello Bob,

Would it be possible to email them to me? I would like to compare them to the set of plans that I have.  Thanks!

Kyle

David

These are from plans drawn by Rob Nelson, there are pictures of his CH701 on skis in the Zenith Co. web page completions galley (CH701 skis flying) or Dec. 2011 Zenith Newsletter  Calendar. Plans were hand drawn by Rob Nelson and converted to a CAD type drawing pdf file by Elmer Webster. Look at the pictures of his CH701 on skis and see if its something your interested in building. Wheel penetration types skis offer access to both paved (plowed) runways and snow / ice landing areas...but there is increased drag associated with this type of skis. Since I can take-off in the snow with both brakes applied full I don't thing the wheel drag is an issue. You can get the plans from Elmer Webster or myself in pdf. format but you need to be "a friend" so you can send me your home e-mail address.... then I (or Elmer Webster) can e-mail plans. No one commercially makes skis for the CH701/CH750/CH801 series aircraft. Zenith should provide plans, built skis or "a kit" that builder could assemble. My Challenger Ultralight had at least 3 ski manufacturers with model from straight, wheel pentration, to electric linear actuactor type retraction.

Is this from your own plans or are they available from somewhere?  Dave Lee
