I Adam, I really like your brake drawing. I did'nt make a drawing for my bending brake. I use Google Sketch 2017 for my own drawing. My first bending brake was an 8 feet long, but I can do any bending with a 4 feet long.

In my next video, you will see the simple method that I used to ben my 3 inch radius Left Wing nose skin 2200 mm long. I find a way so simple and so easy and so cheep to bend any radius from .5 to 3 inch, any size long. My Right wing was ben on my 8 feet brake, it's worked, but It was more complicated.

In a conventional brake the force is applied from bottom to upside part of the brake, needed strain resistence in the middle and anywhere in the upper plate to force the metal to bend (with many big C clamp or indirect triangle limited support.

In the other method, the force is applied down to the a table, who serve as a solid base (if your bench is solid). It only need a wood or metal 2 x 4, a tube to the desire radius attached it , two C Clamp and straps.

I made of my metal bending brake for my CH640 Zenith Zodiac 4 places aircraft from plan. This brake is 52 inches long, but could bend any longer size beyond and any larger bends. Use mainly for bending Aluminium from 0.016 to 0.063 of 6061-T6 aluminum material, with a radius of 3mm. Other plate could acheive other radius bend. This brake is really versatile and sturdy. Note : this is my second metal brake conception. My first one was an 8 feet long.
