Got all of the parts on 9/8/2015. Spent and hour putting the parts together. Seemed to work fine. Flew the DIY ADS-B in on 9/10. Worked as advertised. I'm super happy. Nice ADS-B in for less than $100.

In the article they say you can add a second receiver and obtain the 1090 ES broadcast also. Since I have another receiver, thought I would try it out.
