I made practice strips first for both pieces. I used the dl given on the plans as a starting point, made a few bends and adjusted as needed to match the final formed dimensions. I ended up making about three practice strips for each part before I was happy with the results. Our EAA chapter held a meeting at a member's hangar last week, he plans built a Stolch, really ugly aircraft but his workmanship is excellent! He did a demo flight for us, very impressive takeoff roll. Really got me motivated to make some time to get into the shop! Hope you guys are making good progress!
75F10-1 and 75F10-5 require that you "know" your sheet metal brake since developed length required may or may not match the factory's brake. Did you get these right on the first try? I'll be making test strip before bending these on the for-real parts.
