Hi Jesse, I did 8.5' of .040". Bend my spar doublers .063" approx 18" long, that's about the limit for the hinge. The wood is maple. It did take some experimentation to get good straight bends, definitely not a production tool, but it works quite well as long as you are patient with the setup.
