I originally built a cutting form for the doubler, but could not get the curved sections to line up to my satisfaction (doubler seemed to be a few mm off). So I decided to use the side cutting form making sure to allow for proper edge distance for the front and rear rivet lines and make sure the doubler does not interfere with the radius near the bottom. Top curves line up precisely now. :)

Looks like you used the same form for cutting out the double.  One of them has a two mm error in them.
