For my 912 in 601xlb i put water termostat from Termo Bob iand
completly cover oil cooler .. this setup givs in -15C 90 C water and 100 - 105 oil .

This mod is used for Very cold winter flyers!! Each plate is easily pinned for quick and easy removal. Easy surface to add gun tape if required for less cold air entry for those really cold flights. Frank
