. I watched the video that zenith put out for 601 refab what a lot of work ! I have not started that most interesting of hobbies yet, have a pallet of twelve foot sheets 6061
but have been installing power and lights in my shop and now building a small bender.

Welcome to the most interesting of hobbies. If there is any thing I can do to help just let me know. I live in San Diego and if you ever get to this area you are most welcome to have a look at my project. I just finished remanufacturing my center spar carry through assembly. I used the recomended .063 material in lue of adding all the seperate pices to the old assembly. I tryed adding the seperate pices at first, but did not like the make shift look, so just started from scratch with the heaver material and am glad I did. After all I do enjoy building and it looks much better to me. I did add the 3/4 X 3/4 angle stiffners as recomended, the only real change was remaking the 6-W-4, 1 & 2 webs.
