it appears at the front of the top window the screws into the spar are the only ones going into metal why would you use screws into the lexan window why not use a small bolt AN3 with a nut??

Louie mine looks similar to Jim’s except across the top of my trim piece (the wide half of the trim strip) I used the Zenith soft (non structural) rivets, and screws through the bottom of the trim strip to secure the windscreen to the cross tube.
