If you remove the slats and put VG’s on the wings, is it OK to put slats back on and leave the VG’s on?

Has anyone out there done that? If so...How does it affect flight?

Been there, done that. Doesn't hurt a thing but no additional effect, either. Also, no trim changes with slats vs vg's.

Thanks John, that clears things up.

Good to know it doesn’t hurt anything, surprised to hear there is no change.

Thanks for your help and have a great day,

Nelson
