Sorry; I just have to gripe.

It's been so bloody hot here in DFW; our backporch digital thermometer says 112 deg. When it's a bit cooler (AM), the humidity is high.  I hate working on aluminum when it's 110 deg to the touch and your sweat drips onto it, or you lean your sweaty arm on it and then discover 3 days later that it's almost impossible to remove (thank goodness for Scotchbrite...).

Along with a home flooring project, I just haven't touched the Cruzer in 2 wks.  I hope the current forecast for Oshkosh holds, because we're really looking forward to it next week.

Hope to meet some of you in person.

Supposed to have a cold spell late next week - only a high of 97....

Ha ha, I remember that well. Usually in my build I didn't work on the plane between July and October because of the heat (usually between 108 and 120 every day) but last year because I was close to finishing I put in some 110+ days, even forced my DAR to inspect the plane early in the morning when it was 97 and very humid.

We can truly say we have plenty of sweat in our planes :)

Love that comment!  So true. Glad to hear that others have taken a break when the environment got out of hand.
