I'm not sure how long it lasts, at least three hours but I've never let it run longer to find out.

I've only flown with it on the canopy probably four times. Each flight almost 2 hours. It hasn't fallen off yet. I did try it upside down on the roof of the baggage area with the antennas sticking out under the canopy. That fell off every time.
Do the suction cups work well…tag:zenith.aero,2018-05-15:2606393:Comment:6276102018-05-15T17:30:00.346ZGil DeVaulthttps://zenith.aero/profile/GilDeVault

Hi Gil;

I tried a bunch of different locations in the plane. If you have the screw-on antennas and an attached battery pack, it won't fit on the dash (at least mine wouldn't). There just isn't a really good mounting place in the 601.After a lot of trial and error I ended up just suction-cupping it to the side of the canopy next to the co-pilot's seat.

Magic! this morning when I powered up the ADSB I had contacts and weather on the screen. Everything is in my living room right now, but I'm headed out to the plane in a little while to install & check everything. With the 601 are people using Velcro on the dash or suction cups on the bubble? Took me a while to figure out I needed to go to the web site on the Stratux Wi-Fi instead of my Wi-Fi for instruction on how to calibrated.

Gil,

As previously mentioned, if you're looking at the Stratux with a ground-based PC, you're likely not going to see weather info until you're airborne and flying for a few minutes to allow the weather to load. Typically, however, you can see traffic even when on the ground.

If this is not the case and you need further help, iFly customer support is excellent! Call them and I'll bet they can talk you through it!
