Bob,
Saw your stuff in the newsletter and haven't viewed the video yet. I gave some thought to the assisted build process, but it's a bit too far and too expensive for the moment. Looks like it was worthwhile.
My John Deere sleeps in the barn.... my White 1370 in the drive-in shed... with all the stuff I have collected and my kids occassionally storing their stuff in my garage its been years since my wifes car or my truck have been in the garage for other than an oil change. My Grandfather worked on the line, and in the paint shop of the John Deere plant in Welland, Ontario, Canada. Its closed now like so many of our manufacturing plants.

Thanks for the sage advice, but I love my John Deere and would have a hard choice on who sleeps outside! Us old farm boys love our green.
When your wife's not looking... slats, flaperons, rudder, elevator, firewall and horizontal stabilizer can all fit under a bed ! She will never notice until she tries to vaccuum under it. Put the tractor outside... last time I checked they were rain water safe. Both wings can sit in a moveable cradle sling until needed. Build faster so she won't find your assembled parts and put them out in the garage until you need them for final assembly. When she brings then to the garage be sure to thank…
