Has anyone used stainless control cables in their build? I'm using the galvanized cables that came with the kit, and I am seeing some signs of rust forming on my cables at the at the elevator horn connections. They have been on the plane for 9 years now and I plan to replace them this month.

When using stainless cable, should you always use stainless Nico-press sleeves, and if so, are there any special crimping procedures? I do see where copper sleeves are not compatible with stainless. Reason I ask is, on my Go-No Go gauge to check the crimp, it has one side marked for stainless and the other side marked for I suppose "other".  Thanks.
