Has anyone ever had any issues with squaring the 750 fuselage? My fuselage came recently and there were almost all pre drilled holes already. I guess the fuselage should be square once you cleco it, since you cant really change it at that point anyway. Thoughts? Thanks
There is enough “play” in the clecoed holes that it can be moved. Take the clecos out and square it up, then re-cleco. I think you will find that you can get it right by doing this. Do not simply rivet when it is not “right” (square). If you put any rivets in at all, it will be forever that way. You will find this phenomenon throughout the build. Good luck.
Thanks for that. Of course i already put rivets in. With the plumb bob it was about 1/16" out, i feel pretty good.
I posted several steps under " deburring...? " in the 701 forum, to achieve squareness throughout the process.there will be about 15 chances to get and keep it square once you start the forward fuselage.
