Online Community of Zenith Builders and Flyers
We are going to be making a major announcement for ALL rotax 912 engine owners in the next week or so. For those of you that know us, you know we have been working hard for the last 6 months on a complete retrofit replacement kit for the 912 hoses.
The standard hoses are made of rubber and have been known to breakdown with certain fuel additives. In addition, they require a 5 year replacement.
WE HAVE A GREAT COST EFFECTIVE ALTERNATIVE. We targeted the RV-12 market for the first kits, as they are pretty much all E-LSA and we wanted to make sure that we could provide an illustrated replacement manual with step by step directions. Now that we have that market complete, we are looking for any Zenith Owner with a Rotax 912 who is interested in talking to us about retrofit hoses that are much more durable, lighter, and also have no 5 year replacement condition. The hose kit is proven and has been test flying in several aircraft. We can't spill all the details yet, but we are very proud of this kit and have been able to ELIMINATE EVERY ROTAX PROPRIETARY fitting in the engine and replace it with aircraft standard type fittings.
The kit will work with ANY 912 engine. Out of the entire package, there are two hose lengths that are variable, and we are going airframe to airframe to find the differences and obtain the dimensions.
Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested in working with us to do a retrofit in your aircraft. The first person to contact us with every model of aircraft will get a nice discount in exchange for some installation photos as well as helping us obtain the proper dimensions.
Have a great day,
P.S. We will make the website update as well as the announcement once we officially release the product in the next week or two. This will be a game changer when it comes to Rotax Fuel Hose replacements. For now, if you are interested, we have new videos on the hose section of our website that shows the process for building our hoses. (www.aircraftspecialty.com)
