Is there a name for drilled out rivets / rivet studs / fasteners that end up trapped in inaccessible areas like wings / horizontal stabilizer / control surfaces and rattle around when you taxi?

(I just started taxiing and discovered some rattles, would like to see the humorous side of this! Mark)

You can arrest them from exterior with one magnet, and knowing the position go after them with another. I’ve used a boat hook pole with a magnet in an eyeglass bag. Although when the two magnets meet they do not want to let go of each other.

It's also a good plan to go fishing around in areas that you can't see with one of those extendable magnets on a stick.  Rivets.  Nuts.  Washers.  The sock you lost in a dryer.  You'd be surprised at what comes out on the end of that thing.

Sticking a vacuum in every hole you can access is another good plan, along with a few blast of compressed air.
