Hi Group,

Has anyone in here had any experience with the P-Tip Props from Prince Aircraft Company? I would like to hear from anyone who has switched to this prop from a different one that they were running. Did you have noticeable gains or did it not improve anything?

I currently have a 2 blade ground adjustable Sensenich prop on my 601 XLB. It seems to do OK, but if there is a better option out there then id like to explore that option. My plane has the Jabiru 3300 engine in it.

Thanks,

Jesse

I too would like to know... Im building an xlb as well and I’m very intrigued by the constant speed effect and 4” pitch change from cruise to climb that is mentioned on their site. It seems like it would be good for the 601/650, I know a lot of Sonex builders use them on their planes and they’re both low wing 2 seat planes with decent cruise...
