Y stick or dual sticks?

For Y-stick installations, the servos are typically installed in the rear fuselage/hatch area near the end of the torque tube - no problem if being installed during the build.  In a retro-fit installation in a completed airframe, you have to be a bit of a contortionist to work in there!

However, if you have dual sticks, you have pitch and roll bell cranks on the forward end of the torque tube that can be connected to the servos, so it's a bit easier in retro-fit installations since the pitch servo can be installed in the cabin at the base of the firewall in the middle and the roll servo can be installed under the passenger's seat - much easier access to both areas!
