Nyloil material

Howdy, any of you resourceful type fellows know where to find Nyloil or a substitute oil filled nylon? I am having difficulty in finding a supplier of small peices, like 6x6 inch. This material is used on my 750 as bearing material. I am plansbuilding and making my own bearings will result in a savings and I also simply enjoy making the parts. Mccaster Car comes close to having what I need. I think  1/4 inch / 6x6 inch and a  1/2 inch by 6x6 inch or maybe alittle smaller, should take care of my needs. I need it for two main bearings, the firewall/nosegear and rudder pedals. The factory has these two listed for about $92.00 before shipping. I plan on ordering all my contols from Zenith this winter, so trying to save all I can to do so.  Does anyone have some of this material laying around the shop or have a source for small peices?

I have about a 6 x 12 inch piece of 1/4 inch nyloil that I probably don't need. I bought a full square foot from united plastics and used about half. You can also check their website to compare prices with other vendors. They do sell small amounts also. Gburdett1@frontier.com

Thanks for the replys guys! Dan, your and Steves pics of the bearings you made look great! Gary, I will send you an email about the nyloil. I would only need about a 4in x 4in piece for the top bearing for the nose gear. Mcaster Car has 1/4 by12x 12inches for around $44.00, still alittle pricecy but they have the 1/2in I need for the pedals for about $8.00, so I will order the 1/2 from them, thanks!
