Attached are photos from the accident near Agnos, AR last month. This was added by the NTSB to the Polk City accident public docket. The photos show the same compression buckling as was seen in the photos of the other six accident. Both wings separated in flight.

This one is a bit unique in the score marks seen on the flaps where it rubbed against the rivets on the upper rear spar cap.

I guess we can now see why that big angle extrusion has been added to the main spar and doublers and angles to the rear. I realise that the aileron horn was most likely ripped from the ailerons by the cables when the wings departed, but it sure makes sense to add a few doublers and angles their like others have done.

As disturbing as those pics are, thankyou for posting them.

When you look at the last picture labeled bottom when it is clearly top you wonder about the competence of the investigators.
Or maybe the description simply points out that this is looking towards the lower rear spar which is attached to the bottom of the wing.
