MGL EFIS for sale

So I bought this old 601, been around the patch a time or two and am fixing it to use as an ultralite trainer.

It has a Viking engine which seems to run okay and an MGL Odyssey EFIS.

The EFIS had issues so I sent it to MGL and they fixed and upgraded it so it works fine now.

I am an old steam guage guy and for basic training the EFIS is way overkill and even a little distracting, IMHO.

It has the RADAC the Magnetometer and AHRS 

I have spent the last 4 nites playing with the EFIS and have come to the conclusion I don't have the patience it takes to make it work.

This airplane will never be more than 50 miles from home. 

I would be happy to sell it to one of you young computer savey guys.

It seems to be worth around $8000.00. 

Is half that a reasonable price?

First guy(or gal) to send me $4000 OBO I will carefully pack it in a box and send it. 

Jan Eggenfelner has an engine package which he says is plug and play and I'll go back to needle ball and compass.

can you send me some photos so I can see the Efis and please tell me will it include all the senders and sensors for hte Viking ?

Enclosed are a couple of quick pics.

There would be no point in sending the sensors as they are original to the engine. 

If you are using a Viking the sensors will come with it, if a different engine they would not fit. 

I believe the RADAC unit can interface with any sensors.

All I have hooked up are the oil pres, fuel pres, water temp and gear box temp.

I'll go out to the airport and take pics of the back side tonite.
