I can't say enough about how happy I am with my Viking 130 on my 750 Big Tire Cruzer.

Just be aware that the 650 has a 1320 weight max compared to the Cruzer's 1440. So make sure your mission can accommodate the lower useful load of the 650. I tried to buy a 1/4 share of a 650 partnership and none of the other pilots and I could fly together with any substantial fuel without breaking the 1320 limit, and that was with a Rotax, which is ligher (and 30 HP less) that the Viking…

So if you are a FAA standards guy (170lbs) then it might do, but if you are 6'1" 265 like me, the 750 might be a better choice. If you already have the 650 built and are replacing a 0-200 then it will be nothing but goodness for you.
Thanks for the replies.
I have the Viking 130 in my 750 Cruzer and can’t say enough about how happy I am with it. Tons of power, silky smooth, and all the modern technologies. Plus, you just can’t beat the amazing customer support provided by Jan & Alyssa. The ultimate is to pair it with their VIP (as a few others have done) but I have the DUC prop and it’s doing well.

Jim:

There is more material than time. Viking's standing as one of the top engine options for Zenith aircraft was established through hard work, a reliable product, and constant improvements in FWF details that can only be admired. I have been on the "waiting list" for years, but circumstance and location have made my second E-AB purchase difficult.
