Headset adaptor for Audio/Video for Monster Digital 4K video/camera

I have a Zodiac CH601 XLB (Sorry this is not a Zodiac question) but I just brought a Monster Digital 4K Video/Camera to record my flights, and I noticed in some of the Zenith member videos posted that you guys have done, you have adapted your Audio to the recorder through your headset. Can you please let me know what Video/Audio adapter you are using for a Monster Digital 4K video recorder?

Any helpful comments will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Mark,  I took a look at the specs for that camera, but did not see any information on external mic support.  Hopefully someone can chime in with firsthand experience with that model.  If it does support an external mic, consider using a lapel mic inserted into one of your headset muffs.  I'm using an SJ6 camera with a cheap lapel mic,  audio is better than I expected and was cheaper than a dedicated cable.  Good luck and safe flying!

Hey Clint,

Thanks for your response but I actually found out what would fit my new video camera, The GoPro Hero 3/4 Aircraft Audio Adaptor will work as I have a Micro USB port on the side. I found this out through Aircraft Spruce in Canada after a pile of research on this topic, so I ordered one today.

So this information goes out to any one asking the same question.
