What fuel are people using successfully in the Viking 130 hp engines? I am building a 750 STOL getting closer to deciding on engine. Thanks Lawrence Anderson

I will be picking up my Viking 130 at the end of the month. Although I have not ran one yet, the Honda is designed to use 87 Octane with ethanol. Jan recommends using premium gas. From my research, this engine does run fine off of AVGAS but you do not want it to be the primary fuel used. If I travel, I intend to keep an additive with me that is designed to prevent lead deposits. I will use this in the event I have to fill up on AVGAS. I hope this helps!
