I am installing my flap switch in my Stol CH-750 with dual sticks and a center mounted throttle and I am trying to decide what type of flap switch to install and I am looking at two different paths.
-The first way is to use a switch that is OFF in the center and MOMENTARY on in both the up and down position.
This would allow me to put the flaps down and up as much as I needed , which allows me to slowly bring the flaps up in a go-around. BUT, I have to have my hand on it the entire time the flaps are coming up.
-The second is a switch that is OFF in the center and ON in the up position and MOMENTARY on in the down position.
This would let me put the flaps down as much as needed and in a touch and go, I would simply switch it UP and the flaps would retract and the flap motor limit switch would stop the flaps in the up position.
Which is the best way to go?

Looks like a Ray Allen grip. Discussed back in 2015 on this forum.
It is a Ray Allen G407. They customize how ever you want them. My two are mirror images of each other.
Your kit should have come with a switch, I believe. My Cruzer kit did, and that should be the same as a STOL. It’s a center off, spring loaded up n down. I do like the idea of momentary down but ON for up.
I just installed mine. down momentary, center off , up on. The flaps motor shuts itself off went fully retracted up. Let’s your hand do other tasks while flaps retract on their own. I’m am going to install a positioning sensor and indicator to complete my installation. Both units are provided by ray Allen. Approx 150$.
I like this... It would be REALLY nice to be able to click the switch "up", and then be able to take your hand off it while the flaps go all the way back up.
Do you have a part number for that "Momentary Down/ Center Off / Up On" switch...?
Thanks for the replies, like Jeff said, I really like the ideal of freeing my hand after switching the flaps up but I am still concerned about the Go-Around situation, bringing them up all at once. So,, I am still up in the air on it lol.
What do you all think about the Go-Around scenario? Please give me some input.

It seems to me you will need a double pole double terminal switch for the older style 601 flaps motor. So it depends on your motor and the micro switches it uses. I will attach some photos of mine so you can compare
