All Viking engines can interface with existing EFIS systems. HOWEVER, it is not desirable. Reason behind this is that the outputs from the Viking engine ECU are not all that is desired by the viewing pilot.
The engine ECU likes to monitor engine temperature, crank shaft position, fuel pressure, camshaft position, manifold pressure, etc.
The pilot would like to know parameters such as oil pressure and gearbox temperature.
Also, why use the valuable screen real-estate of an expensive EFIS screen to view engine data when a beautiful full color navigation map can be displayed instead.
