Dustin, I definitely don't want to be negative about your project in any way but before you install the O-320 in your CH-750, you might want to reach out to Doug Duggar at Quality Sport Planes. Doug did an O-320 install on a STOL CH-750 last year. When I spoke to him at last fall's Open Hangar Day about the 750/O-320 performance, Doug left me with the feeling that the engine, while within the upgraded design envelope of the STOL 750, was less than an ideal combination with the airframe due to…

When I spoke to him at last fall's Open Hangar Day about the 750/O-320 performance, Doug left me with the feeling that the engine, while within the upgraded design envelope of the STOL 750, was less than an ideal combination with the airframe due to the increased weight of the Lycoming engine.<br />
