Drilling replacement parts
I needed to replace some parts the previous builder messed up, I needed to drill the holes the same as the old part but space was tight, I found that drywall shims, available from the hardware store work good to drill the holes from the old part through the shim and transfer to the new part. The shims are stiff 1/8" paper and drill very easy. The holes stay just the size of the bit and could be used several times if needed.
